This video was produced as part of an initiative by the Pioneer Network, Engaging Staff in Individualizing Care.

Huddle Facilitation Tips

Hear Stacey Johnson, the Director of Nursing for Holy Cross Village in South Bend, IN describe how she manages group dynamics to get the most out of huddles. She discusses how she keeps huddles on track when staff have side issues or concerns, and how she encourages staff to join in the conversation who may otherwise hold back.

This clip is an excerpt from Everyone Stands Up Together, a video describing how Holy Cross Village took their daily management stand-up meetings from being held behind closed doors, to inviting the staff working closest with the residents.
